  1. Sh*t My Dad Says - This was a fun and funny book to read. It definitely had me chuckling in a few places. It must have been an interesting home to grow up in, with a father so “frank” with his feelings. He does sound like a very caring parent and really loves his family – he tells it like it is, holding nothing back. – I think I’d be scared to go out in public with him though…

  2. Peculiar, MO – I did finish reading this story, but I’m afraid it just wasn’t my “cup of tea” so to speak. I will add though – I did develop an interest in the characters and wanted to find out how they all fared.

Note to author – I suggest another round of proof-reading.

  3. Island Life - I read “The Road Hole Bunker Mystery” also by William Meikle and enjoyed that mystery – this one, not so much. “Island Life” started out good (in my opinion), but soon became too far out there. I realize it was a Sci-Fi but I found myself getting confused by the writing style. It repeated scenes so that you could experience them through the eyes of the different characters – that just didn’t work for me.
