Post Objective:
Provide writing tool information.
I almost forgot to include (as I was putting together this series) information about a tool I used when I wrote my novel, a tool I found extremely usual – Creative Writing Software. I noticed there were a number of software packages out there; the one I settled on was WriteItNow. I selected this one due to the reasonable price and it seemed to offer the functionality I was looking for.
Why use Writing Software?
- To keep track of your characters and their relationships (including a graphical view).
- To keep track of your timeline (you don’t want to misuse a date - you refer to a character who dies before he is married).
- To create storyboards (as you create your scenes).
- To keep track of your locations, events, ideas and notes.
Bottom line – it is a great way to organize your writing.
